Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and MianBiwi (“MianBiwi,” “we,” “us”) governing your use of the MianBiwi mobile application and related services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Who can use MianBiwi

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. MianBiwi is designed for adults sharing a household. You are responsible for all activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.

Your account and your spouse

A MianBiwi account belongs to one person. You may pair your account with one other adult (your spouse) to form a couple. Content you create in joint areas of the app — requests, tasks, calendar events, budgets, goals, family records, and any photos you attach — becomes visible to your paired spouse according to the in-app settings, and may remain visible to them after you stop using the Service. You are each responsible for the content you contribute.

Subscriptions, free trial, and auto-renewal

MianBiwi is free to install and includes a 7-day free trial of MianBiwi Premium for new subscribers. After the trial, continued access to Premium features requires a paid subscription. One subscription covers both paired spouses.

• Plans and price. Monthly: US$4.99 per month. Yearly: US$39.99 per year. Prices in other currencies are set by the App Store and may vary by country.

• Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, after any applicable free trial.

• Auto-renewal. Your subscription automatically renews for the same period at the then-current price unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

• Managing or cancelling. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple ID account settings (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.

• Free trial conversion. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the free trial, your trial converts to a paid subscription and your Apple ID will be charged. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.

• Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple. Refunds are governed by Apple’s policies and must be requested from Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com). Except where required by law, MianBiwi does not issue refunds for partial subscription periods.

• Price changes. We may change subscription prices for future renewal periods. We will notify you in advance, and Apple will request your consent to the new price where required; if you do not consent, your subscription will not renew.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service to harass, threaten, or abuse another person, including your spouse;

• upload content that is unlawful, infringes intellectual-property rights, or violates the privacy of others;

• attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent the security of the Service except as permitted by law;

• use the Service in any way that could disable, overburden, or impair it, or interfere with another user’s use of it;

• use any robot, scraper, or other automated means to access the Service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you create in MianBiwi. You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and transmit your content solely to operate the Service for you and your paired spouse. We do not use your content for advertising and do not sell it.

Service availability and changes

We work to keep MianBiwi available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may add, change, or remove features, including some that may have been part of a paid subscription. If we remove a material feature you have paid for, we will offer a reasonable remedy where required by law.

Termination and deletion

You may stop using the Service at any time. You can delete your account in-app from More → Delete account, which removes your personal data subject to the retention and joint-content provisions described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service unlawfully. Deleting your MianBiwi account does not cancel your App Store subscription — manage that separately in your Apple ID settings.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. MianBiwi is a general-purpose lifestyle app and is not a medical, financial, legal, or psychological service. Apple Health metrics displayed in the app are read from Apple Health and are not diagnostic.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will MianBiwi be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of US$50 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Apple-specific terms

These Terms are between you and MianBiwi only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content. In the event of any failure of the Service to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the app to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the Service. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce them against you.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will revise the effective date above and notify you in the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Qatar, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of Doha, Qatar, except where mandatory consumer-law rules in your country require otherwise.
